You would almost feel sorry for the Cleveland Browns if you cared, but this team is one of the worst in the NFL sports betting and yet it has to play nearly half its schedule against the likes of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals. It just doesn’t seem fair.

The New Orleans Saints (2-1) will inflict Hurricane Katrina like devastation on the Carolina Panthers when the two teams meet up in the NFL betting action this week. Carolina (0-3) is by far the worst team in the NFL right now and there is little reason to think that this team will somehow vastly improve in time to make this game competitive.

There are a handful of pretty bad teams in the league but the Carolina Panthers take the cake as the worst team in the NFL betting action this season. Sure the Bills, Browns and Forty-Niners are still lacking an entry in the win column and belong to the 0-3 fraternity with the Panthers but anyone of these teams would likely whip the daylights out of this struggling Panther franchise.

NFL betting handicappers have optimism for the 2010 sports betting prospects of both the Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons who meet in an August 13 preseason opener.
The Falcons opened as 3-point favorites at SBGGlobal.com Sportsbook with an over under of 34.5.
Kansas City finished just 4-12 straight up and 7-9 against the spread last year in rookie Coach Todd Haley’s debut season but that can be written off to it being a massive transition campaign in year one of the Scott Pioli era.
