NFL betting handicappers have optimism for the 2010 sports betting prospects of both the Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons who meet in an August 13 preseason opener.
The Falcons opened as 3-point favorites at SBGGlobal.com Sportsbook with an over under of 34.5.
Kansas City finished just 4-12 straight up and 7-9 against the spread last year in rookie Coach Todd Haley’s debut season but that can be written off to it being a massive transition campaign in year one of the Scott Pioli era. After clinching the NFC North and finishing the regular NFL odds season with the second best record in the conference you would think the Minnesota Vikings would be in for a bit of a reward. But you can hardly call playing against a white-hot Dallas team a reward. Over the past month of NFL sports betting Dallas has been the most dominant team in the NFC and likely the entire league.
