Sports Betting – Drew Brees finally gets the recognition he deserves
Drew Brees may be a small man by NFL QB standards but he now commands the biggest stage in sports betting. After being told he’s too small all his life all Brees has done is gone out and proved all his detractors wrong and never more emphatically than on Sunday when he single-handedly led his team to victory in the Super Bowl stats.
Out of high school Brees could hardly catch the attention of any major D-I programs and so played at Purdue. From there he was too short (6’0”) to play in the NFL sports betting. But with the team’s win, his sports betting Super Bowl MVP and his superb Super Bowl stats the ‘little man’ with the big arm is finally getting his due.
His Super Bowl stats weren’t gaudy but he may have played the greatest game by a QB in sports betting’s biggest game in recent memory. He finished the game completing 32-38 passes (a Super Bowl stats record), tossed 2 TDs and had a phenomenal passer rating of 114.5. And in the process he upstaged the greatest QB of this generation and perhaps in sports betting history.
But Brees has been performing at a very high level for a long time, it’s now that he’s finally getting the spot light. Consider that since coming to New Orleans he’s averaged nearly 4,700 yards per game and 32 TDs per year. That’s by far the best in the NFL. Better than Peyton Manning, better than Tom Brady, better than anyone.
