packers vs bearsIt’s hard to believe that just four teams remain in the NFL gambling action and that Super Bowl XLV is just a little over 2 weeks away. From day of the 2010-11 NFL season there has been almost nonstop action and plenty of surprises. And with two great teams, the Green Bay Packers (12-6) and the Chicago Bears (12-5), and a classic rivalry (183rd meeting between these two teams) slated for the NFC Championship game this weekend it’s anybody’s guess who’s going to represent the National Football Conference in the upcoming Super Bowl.

But if you’re going to put money on this game make sure you put it on the Packers. Kickoff for this Sunday matchup is set for 3:05 Eastern Time and SBG Global Sportsbook opened with the Packers as a 3.5-point favorite with an over/under total at 43.5. Read more…

NFC Divisional Playoffs Seahawks vs Bears NFL Gambling

January 16th, 2011 No comments

seahawks vs bearsThe biggest story of the Wild Weekend was without a doubt the Seattle Seahawks (8-9) monumental upset of the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints (11-5) and booking a spot in the NFC divisional playoffs action.

That win was monumental for a number or reasons and was one of the biggest upsets in NFL playoffs history. The Saints were favored by double-digits in the points spread heading into that game and virtually no one gave them a chance to win. Nor should they have. The Seachickens have been rotten all year ranked 25th in the NFL in total defense (25.4 ppg) and 23rd in the NFL in total offense (19.4 ppg) and still somehow capturing the dubious honor of becoming the first team in NFL history to win a division with a losing record.
