November 14th, 2010 No comments

bengals vs coltsThe NFL Network’s recent Top 100 Players of All-Time program listed Peyton Manning as the second best QB in the history of the NFL betting odds competition. Only 4-time Super Bowl champion Joe Montana was listed higher at the position. But anyone that’s seen Manning in action this season could make a good argument for bumping him past Montana on the all time list.

Whereas Montana had Rice, Clark and Taylor to throw the ball to and Roger Craig and Tom Rathman to hand the ball off to, Manning is working with practice squad players named Tamme, White and James.

And he’s putting up ridiculous passing stats (309.8 yards passing per game, 16 TDs, 4 INTs) and has led the Colts to an impressive 5-3 record. Read more…

Sportsbetting: Vikings vs Bears NFL Week 10 Odds

vikings vs bearsIn a watered down NFC North in a very weak NFC field this year both the 5-3 Bears and the 3-5 Vikings have a shot at capturing the division title and booking a spot in the NFL playoff sports betting action.

That’s a much different result than the preseason projections that expected this team to be a top 3 offense. Injuries and the lack of any running game whatsoever have contributed to the team’s offensive shortcomings but if the Pack is looking to turn the train around, then the 1-6 Dallas Cowboys is a perfect punching bag to pad the stats with. Sports Odds: Patriots vs Browns NFL Betting Lines

November 7th, 2010 No comments

patriots vs brownsThere are about 1,001 storylines surrounding this intriguing Week 9 NFL betting odds matchup between the New England Patriots and the Cleveland Browns.

At first glance this game would seem to be a foregone conclusion as the Pats, at 6-1, have the best record in the NFL and the Browns, at 2-5, are simply terrible. And that perception might be accurate.

But the Browns are the best 2-5 team in the league. This team is coming off a major upset of the Super Bowl Champion Saints in the Super Dome. They’re also coming off a Bye week in which they had an extra week to study tape on the Pats. But this team’s coaching staff is awfully familiar with the Pats as head coach Eric Manginius got his coaching start there. Read more…
