There are not many things in this world that NFL QBs enjoy less than playing against the Pittsburgh Steelers (14-4) defense, and especially not in Super Bowl betting situations.
Let us count the ways in which the Steelers terrorize their opponents: 1st in the NFL in Sacks (48.0), 1st in yards lost on Sacks (319), 1st in the NFL in takeaways (41), 2nd in INTs returned for TDs (3), 3rd in TD passes allowed, 3rd in INTS (21), and definitely the front-runner it in the unofficial stat column of offensive coordinator nightmares.

This Weekend’s NFC Championship game has as much hype surrounding it as any Conference championship has had in quite some time. And why shouldn’t it? This battle for a berth in the Super Bowl features two of the marquee franchises in the NFL, the Chicago Bears (12-5) and the Green Bay Packers (12-6), and the oldest rivalry in professional football.
These two clubs first met on the grid iron in 1921 and have been butting heads ever since. This will the 183rd meeting of this teams, but what makes this matchup so fascinating is the fact that despite all the history, this will be just the 2nd time that that these two storied franchises have met in the post season. Thursday Night NFL gambling action is in full swing and this week’s matchup features a division rivalry between two desperate and struggling teams. The Indy Colts (6-6) desperately need a win to keep pace with the AFC South leading Jacksonville Jaguars (7-5) and the Tennessee Titans (5-7) have got to put the brakes on a 5-game losing streak before the season goes down the toilet.
Neither of these teams is playing very good football at this moment, and both teams will rely on their superstar players to get thing back on track. The NFC East is always full of surprises and Monday night’s NFL betting odds match up between the Washington Redskins (4-4) and the Philadelphia Eagles (5-3) will be interesting for a variety or reasons –not the least of which is the on field action.
